 Our GoalThe goal of this project is to help Iraqi refugees continue with their higher education, so that when it is safe, they can return to Iraq and help rebuild their country.Our ImpactWe can offer much-needed skills and expertise to people who will contribute to the future of Iraq. We help heal a few of the wounds inflicted in recent years on Iraq society, and we provide Americans with the opportunity to know and interact with Iraqis.
Our MethodWe work to minimize expenses. Participating schools waive tuition, but all other expenses for the student (including room, board, travel and all living expenses) must be raised by local support groups on behalf of the Iraqi Student Project.
The ISP Baltimore support group consists entirely of volunteers. No person receives any compensation for his or her work.
